Lowell began making orthopaedic implants nearly 20 years

Lowell invests heavily in state-of-the-art equipment to help us
create exceptional products. We have over 70 advanced CNC
machining and turning centers. Our machining and assembly
expertise covers titanium, stainless steel, cobalt chrome, PEEK™,
Ultem™, Torlon®, and UHMW polyethylene.

Lowell has invested in the technology to manufacture and test your
finished components and assemblies down to the submicron level,
starting with our Leitz PMM and continuing with our ongoing
investment in profile tolerancing.
Our manufacturing engineers average 20 years of service
at Lowell. This gives you and your design team an edge that
is hard to duplicate. We’ll assist with questions on design,
manufacturability, materials, measurement, and verification.
Lowell is one of the few manufacturers with two clean room options.
The first is a 500 sq. ft. Class 100 (ISO Class 5) clean room. The
second is a 1,300 sq. ft. Class 10,000 (ISO Class 7) assembly area.
