including: Trauma, Extremity, Cranio-maxillofacial, Spine, Sports Medicine and Joint Reconstruction.
ORTHOPAEDIC & SPINE INSTRUMENTS & KITS
The ECA team collaborates with implant OEMs as their one stop shop for converting reusable instruments
to single-procedure, sterile-packed, ready for surgery kits. As a Class 1 OEM medical device company
the ECA team works hand in hand with OEMs to design and manufacture instruments and kits that
are clinically robust and provide measurable economic value. ECA handles all the design, product
validations, CE Mark, packaging, labels and provides a dock to stock solution for our customers.
Validated product families include: torque-limiters from 1 lb. in (0.112 Nm) to 106 lb. in ( 12 Nm) with
wide range of standard and custom handles for various procedures with both integrated shafts and
with AO or ¼” square connectors. ECA also makes In-Line torque-limiters for use on variable speed
power drivers, bi-directional ratchets, fixed driver Instruments with Wick Away® firm grip technology
and surgery ready kits for securing distal radius plates, 2mm to 8mm cannulated screws, full range of
trauma and extremity plate and screw systems, anterior cervical plates and interbodies, pedicle and
facet screws, sacral joint Implants, CMF devices and much more.
The ECA team can expertly modify standard instruments or create unique customer designs —including complete kit conversions to single-use
instruments — and quickly transform them from concepts to prototype to production.
