WHO WE ARE
Criterion Instrument is a precision machine shop producing
components for Class II & Class III medical devices. Criterion
has prototyped and produced precision components for
use in medical instruments, bone screws, surgical implants
and diagnostic instrumentation that support medical device
companies and the Biotech/Bio-med industries.

Criterion has over 60 years experience in the machining of
close tolerance (+/- .0002) CNC 5-Axis milling, CNC turning
and Swiss CNC turning of high precision components from
prototypes for proof of concept, small production runs for clinical
trials through production quantities.
Criterion’s capabilities include the machining of many difficult
materials such as ultem and implantable grade titanium, as
well as stainless steel, aluminum, plastic, peek, inconel, brass,
hastelloy, nitinol and non-ferrous castings.
These various components help to service the needs of the
orthopedic, spinal, reconstructive, cardiovascular, epidermal,
endocrine and many other medical fields of study and research.
